12 "Remember therefore from whence

thou art fallen, and repent, and do the

first works; or else I will come unto thee

quickly, and will remove thy candlestick

out of his place, except thou repent.

Revival scriptures

Both from the Old and New Testament.

Ps 51:1-10 KJV

1. Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto

the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.  2 Wash me

throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.  3 For I acknowledge

my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.  4 Against thee, thee only, have I

sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou

speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.  5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity;

and in sin did my mother conceive me.  6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward

parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.  7 Purge me

with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may

rejoice.  9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.  10 Create

in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

Jer 8:5-7 KJV

5 Why then is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding?

They hold fast deceit, they refuse to return.  6 I hearkened and heard, but they

spake not aright: no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I

done?  Every one turned to his course, as the horse rusheth into the battle.  7

Yea, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times; and the turtle and the

crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not

the judgment of the LORD.

Matt 3:1 KJV

In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,

2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Matt 4:17 KJV

From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of

heaven is at hand.

Acts 2:38 KJV

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name

of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy

Ghost.

2 Peter 3:9 KJV

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but

is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should

come to repentance.

Rev 2:5 KJV

Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first

works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out

of his place, except thou repent.
